Aston Ingham is an ancient parish, situated in an attractive part of South East Herefordshire, bordering with Gloucestershire. It has about 170 houses with a population, some are employed in farming and others either travel to local towns or are self-employed.
As there is no school within the village the children have to travel to school either to The Lea (designated C of E School), Gorsley Goffs, Newent, Longhope or Ross. There is no village shop and only a weekly bus to Ross-on-Wye.
