The village of Lea is situated on the A40 12 miles from Gloucester and 5 miles from Ross-on-Wye with the County boundary on its eastern parish boundary.
It is a small village with a shop, garage with post office and The Crown public house. The Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School moved to a new site in Autumn 2004.
Lea Church is open for visitors and for private prayer on Wednesday and Saturday each week from 10a.m. until 5p.m. On Wednesday Evensong is said at 5p.m. and visitors are very welcome to stay for that service. It is also open on Sunday from after the morning service (see website or notice board for details) until 5p.m.
The church is situated on the main A40 road through the village and there is parking in the lay by immediately opposite the church. Please leave room for the buses to stop. In the unlikely event of this being fully occupied there is further parking in the Village Hall car park, the entrance to which is from the lay by.
