The Community

We are fortunate to have a village shop and post office run by Colin and Veronica Barry.

Peterstow is on the main A49 and is served by an hourly bus service, which runs between Hereford and Gloucester.

The W.I. and the Parish Council meet regularly but at present do not have a suitable venue at which to hold their meetings in Peterstow, and so make use of the village hall in Bridstow ( where all the other previously mentioned events are also held ).

During 2004 the Parochial Church Council have been consulting the wider village community with regard to improving the facilities at the church, with the aim of proving a venue for a wide range of village events. Such improvements would also benefit the regular worshipping community and visitors and guests at weddings, funerals, baptisms and other large services and events.

2005 will see the continuation of this consultation period, with a second questionnaire being distributed in January and the comments book at the back of the church.
