The Community

Members of the church are involved in many ways with the community. Hospital visiting is undertaken at the Ross Community NHS Hospital; home visits and home communion are arranged; Christian Aid is actively supported; Christmas parcels are sent to poor children in eastern Europe; collections of food and other materials are made to support the women's refuge and overseas emergencies. St Mary's is actively involved with Churches Together in Ross.

St Mary's Hall, on the north side of the churchyard provides meeting and catering facilities for church and community activities. To book the Hall click here or 'phone 01989 562175 between 9.30am and 12.30pm on weekdays.

In November 2004 children from six neighbouring primary schools spent a day of study in the church with help from many members of the congregations of the Ross Team. This was very successful and repeated again in June 2007.
